“I have been running for 10 years. I enjoy running because it helps me relieve stress and because it challenges me to push myself. JJ10K is a great race, all the way around. From the race itself, to the swag bag, to how well it’s organized. Race day is always fun, too, with the costume contest and dance off. Just a great environment. I didn’t train. I trained for the Palmetto Peach Half, which is the week before Jingle Jam. So I focused on the Half training and since Jingle jam is the following week and half the distance, it was easy to race 2 weeks in a row. 2019 was a crazy year for me in running. I trained hard in 2019 and I PR’ed every race I ran and even won a couple of them. I’m not sure what 2020 has in store for me running wise, because I’m not sure I can top 2019. So I would say my short and long term goals are to maintain my speed, keep pushing my limits, and most importantly, not out run my love of running.”

2nd Place

George Stoller

Finish Time 56:08

3rd Place

Bill Raeth

Finish Time 47:42

“I’ve been running for 8 years. I run to stay healthy because I eat I like pizza, ice cream, and bacon.  It’s a good stress reliever and to get out into nature. JJ10K is a fun race with a great atmosphere, and it supports victims of domestic violence. To train I run a lot. I want to do a 50k this year if life allows it.”
